17 January, 2012 Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) is pleased to announce the arrival of Paul Cooper as Counsel. He will be strengthening the Tax Law Desk. The Tax Law Desk of the Corporate/M&A group has a counseling and litigation practice. Paul will be contributing his regulatory expertise. He spent fifteen years with the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department where he developed and implemented international tax policy, drafted New Zealand’s transfer pricing guidelines and negotiated tax treaties.
3 January, 2012 Partner of Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri Law firm Archil Kbilashvili provided legal defense to Israeli businessmen Rony Fuchs and Ze’ev Frenkiel. He was assisted by Sandro Samadbegishvili, the lawyer of the firm. On December 1 of this year President of Georgia granted a pardon to Israeli citizens Rony Fuchs and Ze’ev Frenkiel upon the request of the Government of Israel and the President of Israel in person.

21 October, 2011 Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) acted as a legal counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in connection with TBC Bank funding to finance agricultural sector. The agreement signed provides for facility of EUR 10 million in local currency and up to five years.

15 July, 2011 "Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri" (MKD) has advised Deutsche Structured Finance (DSF) on its financial lease of the aircraft to the major Georgian air carrier. This was the one of the very few financial lease transactions of that type in Georgia and among the most complex.
