PAUL COOPER HAS JOINED MGALOBLISHVILI KIPIANI DZIDZIGURI (MKD) AS COUNSEL

Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) is pleased to announce the arrival of Paul Cooper as Counsel. He will be strengthening the Tax Law Desk.

The Tax Law Desk of the Corporate/M&A group has a counseling and litigation practice. Paul will be contributing his regulatory expertise. He spent fifteen years with the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department where he developed and implemented international tax policy, drafted New Zealand’s transfer pricing guidelines and negotiated tax treaties. He was also the New Zealand delegate to OECD for harmful tax practices, tax treaties and transfer pricing.

Later Paul Cooper spent 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Manila, Kyiv, Yerevan and Tbilisi as a consultant. Paul was the Tax & Legal Services practice leader for Armenia and Georgia. 

Paul is independently engaged as a consultant in tax policy and administration reform projects.
