CERTAIN ASPECTS OF GEORGIAN INSOLVENCY LAW

The Business Association of Georgia in cooperation with International Financial Corporation (IFC) organized a seminar on the basic aspects of Georgian insolvency law on 28 June 2010.
Seminar was led by Archil Kbilashvili - partner at Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) Law Firm. The Law on Insolvency and various specific issues related thereto were discussed at the seminar.
Participants received information and some practical advice on various key issues, such as assessment of debtor’s financial standing and ways of satisfaction of creditors’ claims; engaging with a partner experiencing financial difficulties; initiating and conducting insolvency proceedings.
