On May 5, 2016, Tamara Tkeshelashvili of Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) law firm moderated a panel at a Business Conference: European Companies in Georgia – Growing Trade and Investments, organized by EU-Georgia Business Council, and funded by the EU. The panel participants – the representatives of the Partnership Fund, Anaklia Development Consortium, Carriage Building Company, Poti Free Industrial Zone (Poti FIZ) discussed the opportunities offered by the DCFTA for growing investments in Georgia, and showcased their ongoing and future investment projects.
Ambassador Zviad Chumburidze, EUGBC Secretary General welcomed the audience with an inaugural speech. Ambassador Janos Herman – Head of the European Union Delegation to Georgia, along with Mr. David Bakradze – the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Mr. David Jalagania – the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Bruno Balvanera – EBRD Director for Caucasus, Moldova & Belarus also joined Ambassador Chumburide in his welcoming remarks.
